We are not normally known for covering what mainstream Hip Hop artists are doing, but after reading the news about 50 Cent’s heartfelt endeavor to feed 1 billion kids, we had to tell you about it. Last month, 50 Cent announced that he was teaming up with Pure Growth Partners to launch Street King, an energy shot that will supply a child in need with a meal for every shot purchased, as well as his initiative to feed one billion children with his Street King shots. Now, the millionaire mogul is opening up about the inspiration behind his noble cause.
In a recent video shot in Australia, 50 Cent explains that his childhood, which was marred by poverty and crime, helped him to sympathize with children who are living in more dire situations and asks that those who are more fortunate contribute to his global initiative.
